I grew up with eczema. Rashes, dry patches, skin that reacted to almost everything I put on it. Skincare wasn't a lifestyle choice for me. It was damage control, every day, for years.
By my twenties the eczema had mostly settled, but the habit of paying attention to my skin never left. What I noticed instead was a gap. Grooming aisles were full: colognes, deodorants, a hundred ways to smell good. Real skincare for men, built around how men's skin actually behaves, was almost nowhere.
"Men's grooming exists. Men's skincare, built to solve real problems, was harder to find. So I started my journey to build a brand for men."
That gap is the reason DJOHNY exists. A system built from the ground up for a men's skin: thicker, oilier, and worn down daily by shaving.
The Ritual is three steps. The Cleanser removes what the day left behind. The Toner resets your skin's pH so everything after it actually absorbs. The Moisturizer locks it in for 24 hours. A fourth step, The Treatment, is in development for targeted skin problems.
Every formula is precise on purpose. No filler ingredients, no ten-step routines, nothing added just to fill a shelf. If it doesn't earn its place in The Ritual, it doesn't ship.
This isn't about vanity. Taking care of your skin is a small, private discipline. No one sees you do it at 6am, and no one applauds it. That's exactly the point. The things that build a man rarely have an audience.
